2027 Colorado Emergency Management Conference Call for Presenters is Now Open!

The Colorado Emergency Management Association (CEMA) and the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) invites emergency management professionals, practitioners, researchers, nonprofit partners, private-sector stakeholders, and subject matter experts to submit submissions for the 2027 Colorado Emergency Management Conference (COEMC), sharing innovative ideas, lessons applied, and best practices.

We're excited to bring back our popular 60-minute breakout sessions for 2027, providing an opportunity for presenters to explore topics in depth, share practical insights and lessons learned, engage attendees in discussion, and deliver meaningful educational experiences.

New for 2027: Poster Palooza & Poster Palooza Showcase
We're excited to introduce the Poster Palooza, a dynamic new presentation format that highlights innovative projects, research, lessons learned, successful programs, and emerging ideas through engaging visual displays. Selected posters will be showcased throughout the conference, allowing attendees to explore content at their own pace, with dedicated opportunities to connect with presenters during the Poster Palooza Showcase.

Whether you're interested in leading a 60-minute breakout session or sharing your work through a poster presentation, we encourage you to submit a proposal and contribute to the exchange of knowledge that strengthens emergency management across Colorado and beyond.

The Call for Presenters is open through October 11, 2026. Additional information about presentation formats, requirements, and submission guidance can be found below:
